One of the things we love most about Le Marais is that no two visits are ever the same. You might spend one afternoon browsing independent bookstores, another wandering through hidden courtyards, and the next discovering a café you've somehow walked past dozens of times before.

Our advice? Don't be afraid to wander. Some of Paris' best cafés aren't the ones with the longest lines—they're the ones you stumble across while exploring.
